Manganese oxide nanoparticles were synthesized via coprecipitation method usingCTAB and ammonium oxalate monohydrate (AOM) as asurfactant and a chelating agent, respectively. For the coprecipitation process, the phase of manganese salt with CTAB and AOM and the phase of precipitation agent with CTAB were prepared separately and then two phases were mixed for the formation of Mn(OH)2. After the calcination of Mn(OH)2, manganese oxide nanoparticles were obtained. The characterizationswere performed by using FE-SEM, HR-TEM, XRD, PSA, and BET. |
