제목 Optimization of culture conditions for enhancement of C. ljungdahlii and C. autoethanogenum growth and bioethanol production
초록 Concern about global warming has led to reduction in greenhouse gas emissions from developed countries. South Korea is also planning to reduce its carbon emissions 37% compared to its greenhouse gas emission estimates by 2030. Biofuel can reduce greenhouse gases. Among biofuels, bioethanol and biodiesel are the most widely used biofuel for transportation in the world. Bioethanol can be produced by biological CO conversion. However, biological CO conversion process has a disadvantage in that both the concentration of the target product and the production rate are lower the conventional biomass utilization process. Therefore, it is essential to optimize microbial growth medium and ethanol production conditions.
In this study, growth rate and ethanol productivity of C. ljungdahlii were observed according to the concentrations of yeast extract, fructose, etc., pH and agitation speed. So we optimized culture medium and operating conditions.
