We modified the surface of graphene oxide (GO) with amine groups using 4-aminobenzylamine (4-ABA) to improve compatibility with polyimides (PIs). Two kinds of TAP (tris (4-aminophenyl) amine) and melamine (1,3,5-triazine-2,4,6-triamine) were used as cross-linking agents. The mechanical, thermal and optical properties of the PIs were investigated. Amine functionalized GO was evenly dispersed in polyimide, improving transparency and physical properties. As the content of the cross-liking agent increased, the chemical crosslinking between the polyimide chains was formed, and the stiffness of the composite was increased. The glass transition temperature, heat resistance, and mechanical properties were improved. In the case of the composite prepared through the rigid structure crosslinking agent, transparency was improved due to reducing the influence of the charge transfer complex (CTC) by increasing the free volume between the polyimide chain. |
