제목 Free-Standing Nafion Nanofibers Prepared via Coaxial Electrospinning
초록 Electrospinning is one of the useful technique that produces polymeric nanofibers with the use of electrostatic forces. Recently, researchers have explored the possibility of using electrospinning to fabricate electrospun Nafion membranes. However, it is very hard to complete the formation of electrospun nanofibers based on the bare Nafion whatever the condition. In this study, Nafion nanofibers were prepared by coaxial electrospinning using an electrospinnable shell polymer. Electrospinnable shell polymer serves as a template for the formation of the Nafion nanofibers. Extraction of the core-shell structured Nafion nanofibers to remove the shell polymer resulted in forming free-standing Nafion nanofibers. The detailed chracteristics of Nafion nanofibers have been investigated by SEM, TEM, FT-IR and DSC.
