Organic solar cells (OSCs) have been studied for commercialized applications, because of its low cost, light weight and transparency. However, it’s still not enough transparent for building-integrated photovoltaics (BIPVs) and photovoltaic glass. The main reason for insufficient transmittance are active layer’s visible area absorption and opaque electrodes. To solve this problem, thin metal electrode method was introduced to enhance the transmittance. However, as the transmittance is increased, the conductivity is decreased simultaneously. Consequently, the power conversion efficiency (PCE) is also decreased. The non-metal/metal composite electrode can balance both transmittance and PCE. This composite electrode optimizes transmittance and compensates electrical properties. In this study, we fabricated Inverted structured OSCs with non-metal/metal composite electrode. As a result, the optical and electrical properties of OSCs with non-metal/metal composite electrode have enhanced. |
