제목 Investigation of the structural effect on ion conductivity in PVDF-based solid polymer electrolytes
초록 Investigations into solid polymer electrolytes have been motivated due to their potential use in various electrochemical applications. However, a major drawback for these materials is that they suffer from a relatively low ionic conductivity at room temperature. For the reason, recently, the use of inert nano sized fillers within polymer-salt complexes has been the subject of much interest.
In this work, we made an attempt to prepare PVDF-based nanocomposite solid polymer electrolytes using organo-clay as nanofiller and examined the changes of crystalline structure in accordance with the content of clay. Ultimately, investigation about effect of these structural changes on ionic conductivity is the aim of the present study. First of all, XRD and DSC were applied to analyze the samples. From these measurements, we verified the degree of cystallinity for each sample. Also, we confirmed the changes of nanocomposite structures visually by TEM and ionic conductivity was decided with ac impedance measurement.
