제목 | Synthesis and Characterization of Energetic Prepolymer of 2-nitrato ethyl oxirane(NEO) |
초록 | We synthesized energetic prepolymer of 2-nitrato ethyl oxirane(NEO) binder for plastic-bonded explosive and measured its thermodynamic parameters for polymerization. 2-Nitrato ethyl oxirane as a monomer was epoxidated from 4-nitrato-butene which is nitrated 4-butene-ol, and then energetic polymer of 2-nitrato ethyl oxirane(NEO) was polymerized by cationic ring opening polymerization. The unreacted monomer concentration through polymerization were measured by GC. Thermodynamic parameters were obtained from the ceiling temperature(Tc) values of 1 mole monomer at reaction temperature. We varied feed rate of monomer, concentration of initiator and monomer to control molecular weight and polydispersity of prepolymer(NEO). The activated monomer polymerization has been executed with precisely controlled feed of NEO monomer to reactor in the complex state catalyst generated by BF3.O(C2H5)2 and 1,4-butanediol in C2H4Cl2 Number average molecular weight(Mn), polydispersity, hydroxy number and glass transition temperature of prepolymer(NEO) were 2,000~2,500, 1.30~1,50, 0.8eq/kg and -30~-35 respectively. |
