제목 Fabrication of CNT Composite Microwires and its Gas Sensing Ability
초록 Detection of volatile organic chemicals (VOCs) is important because VOCs could be highly toxic and harmful to human health, even under a dilute condition. A gas sensor with simple structure and facile fabrication process as well as high sensitivity/selectivity is demanded for efficient and ubiquitous VOC detection. In this study, we present CNT composite conducting microwires for the VOC sensor application. The resulting microwires fabricated via a simple extrusion process are robust, flexible and scalable. We investigate the change in electrical conductivity of the microwires upon exposure to various VOCs, based on which the working mechanism of our microwire sensor is discussed.
