제목 Adhesive Micelle Using Catechol group
초록 Adhesive is very important in our life. Before, many adhesives are made of polymer. But using polymer to glue with polymer gels is difficult, requiring chemical reactions, heating, pH changes, ultraviolet irradiation or an electric field. And next, nanoparticle can become connector between two gels. This time catechol group is used for adhesive. Mussel is able to stick in wet surface, it has special amino acid called 3,4-dihydroxyphenylalanine. Dopamine become pendent of Poly(succinimide) for making adhesive micelle. The chemical structure and morphology of the resulting polymeric micelle were analyzed using 1H NMR, and TEM.
