The rheological and electrical behaviors of Carbon nanotube filled immiscible Polypropylene(PP) / Polystyrene(PS) blends were investigated. The compounding sequence influences the phase morphology of PP/PS/CNT composites and the distribution of CNT. The measurement of resistance and storage modulus were carreid out to estimate the phase colescence of ternary composites and CNT migration and agglomeration. The CNT are selectively distributed in the PS phase. However, the ternary composites with majority of CNT particles distributed in the interfacial region show the lowest conductive percolation threshold and fine morphologies. |
