Thermal Stability of Acrylic Pressure-Sensitive Adhesives by Oligosiloxane |

Pressure-sensitive adhesives (PSAs) classify rubber, vinyl, silicone and acrylic PSAs. Among them, acrylic PSAs have advantages such as weather resistance, oil resistance, transparency and good adhesion. However, acrylic PSAs have several problems about thermal instability. Oligosiloxane shows thermal stability by structures and functional groups. In this study, we synthesized the oligosiloxanes with thermal stability and blended with acrylic PSAs. These oligosiloxane with branch and linear structures synthesized two functional groups: thiol group or vinyl group. The thermal properties of the materials were investigated by rheometer. |
