Recently, carbon electrode-based perovskite solar cells (PSCs) have been received great attentions due to their long-term stability and low material and fabrication process costs. However, degraded hole transfer by poor interfacial contact between perovskite should be addressed to fabricate a highly efficient carbon-based device. Here we develop an innovative method for growth of two-dimensional (2D) perovskite layer at the interface between perovskite layer and carbon electrode. 2D perovskite layer formed within perovskite/carbon interfaces improves the poor contact of carbon and obtains optimal energy band alignment. The carbon-based PSCs made with 2D perovskite layer exhibited excellent photovoltaic performances, achieving efficiency over 15%. Furthermore, the devices show superior stability due to dual protection of 2D perovskite and carbon layer. |
