제목 Electropolymerization of Drug-containing Polymers
초록 Restenosis after e.g.percutane coronar interventions is still a problem in angioplasty. Introduction of coated stents was a significant progress in suppression of cellular proliferation. But, most of the paclitaxel-eluting stents are layer by layer coatings by a physical absortion. It raise a problem in suppression of effectively cellular proliferation. Therefore, the development of tailored drug-eluting stent(DES) are on demand and is still a challenge for materials science and engineering. In this study, water soluble paclitaxel prodrug(PP7) analogues synthesized by incorporation of hexenoate with vinyl group onto the carbon 2’ of water soluble paclitaxel prodrug(PP7). And water soluble paclitaxel prodrug(PP7) analogues synthesized were polymerized directly on-to the surface of a stainless-steel by an electrochemical polymerization that is initiated in-situ at the surface. It could be of anti-restenotic and anti-proliferating coatings for medical application of paclitaxel.
