Blend proton exchange membrane were prepared by solution casting from sulfonated poly(ether ether ketone) (SPEEK) and poly(vinylidene fluoride) (PVDF) in N,N-dimethyl acetamide (DMAc). Thermal stability, uptake behavior, ionic exchange capacity (IEC), proton conductivity and morphology of the SPEEK based blend membranes were determined as function of PVDF content. The results of solvent uptake, IEC, Proton conductivity and swelling ration of blend membrane decreased with the increase of PVDF content. |
