제목 Reversible color change of azobenzene copolymer with honeycomb patterned film by photo illumination.
초록 We obtained reversible color change of azobenzene copolymer with honeycomb pattered film by photo illumination. We have obtained a highly ordered honeycomb-patterned porous film by the assistance of UV illumination on the fabrication of polymer solution by the breath figure process under humid conditions. For reversible color change, a new type of UV-sensitive polymer that comprises Methyl Methacrylate and azobenzene monomer, poly(methyl methacrylate)/6-(4-(4-dimethylaminophenylazo)phenoxy)-hexyl methacrylate, was synthesized and fabricated without addition of an amphiphilic copolymer necessary to hold water droplets on the hydrophobic solution surface as an air-water interface stabilizer. The effect of UV illumination on the fabrication of the polymer film can be interpreted by the photo-switched isomerization of the azobenzene component in the copolymer from trans- to cis-isomer.
