Preparation of gold/silver nanoparticles stabilized by PEO-Based pH sensitive block copolymers |

The preparation of Au/Ag nanoparticles stabilized by PEO-based pH sensitive block copolymers was performed in aqueous media. The block copolymers were synthesized by ATRP of methacrylamide type of vinyl monomers carrying sulfonamide group in aqueous media using PEO-based macroinitiator. The sulfonamide groups in block copolymers seemed to effect the stabilization of gold/silver nanoparticles. In this presentation, we will report a preliminary result for the preparation of metal nanoparticles. |
