제목 Development and Evaluation of Efficient Recombinant Escherichia coli Strains for the Production of 3-Hydroxypropionic Acid from Glycerol
초록 3-hydroxypropionic acid (3-HP) is a potential raw material for producing many industrial chemicals. Previously, we produced 3-HP from glycerol by recombinant E. coli SH254 expressing dhaB and aldH. In this study, efficiency of strain(s) was improved by expressing these genes in different IPTG inducible plasmids along with reactivase (GDR). In addition, by replacing aldH with KGSADH-I (E. coli SH-BGK1), exhibited a highest production of 3-HP at 2.8 g/L in shake-flask conditions, and 38.7 g 3-HP/L in bioreactor. Here, for the first time, we demonstrate the production of 3-HP at a highest titer from glycerol.
