Non-contact direct printing and deposition is gaining popularity because of its high efficiency, capability for large area production and small material wastage. Main technologies involved in non-contact printing include thermal & piezo inkjet printing and electrohydrodynamic printing. These technologies find their application in the fabrication of thin film devices and are expected to facilitate widespread, low-cost, electronics for applications such as flexible displays, smart labels, decorative and animated posters etc. |
