제목 Effect of Compatibilizers and Semi-IPN Structure of PP/PLA Blend Foam on Mechanical Properties using Melt mixing method
초록 The polypropylene(PP)/poly(lactic acid) blending was successfully fabricated by melt mixing method. The foaming agent was added for lightweight materials and their applications in order to satisfy global environmental regulations. Various compatibilizers and chemical treated natural fibers were used for enhance the mechanical properties of PP/PLA blending. The semi-IPN structure was introduced using TAIC / peroxide system for mechanically crosslinking between PP/PLA. Application of the PLA nano-fiber made by electrospinning was also examined. Differential scanning calorimetry(DSC) was used for evaluate thermal properties and compatibility between PP and PLA. Tensile and Flexural strength was measured by universal test machine(UTM). Morphologies of composites was observed by scanning electron microscopy(SEM).
