제목 | Combinatorial approach to develop high performance of DAFC |
초록 | Combinatorial high-throughput-screening test was applied for the study of ternary electrocatalysts(Pt-Ru-Sn) as anode catalysts in the low-temperature direct alcohol fuel cells system fed by methanol, ethanol and 2-propanol. The addition of Au/TiO2 and zeolites as active components to PtRu/C electrode in DMFC was investigated by using the combinatorial electrochemistry. Ru is more suitable for the direct methanol fuel cell system and Sn for the direct ethanol fuel cell system. The improved performance by the addition of Au/TiO2 may be attributed for easy oxidation of the absorbed CO on Pt on the surface of Au/TiO2 by interaction between PtRu/C Au/TiO2. Addition of ZSM-5 zeolite gives to high thermal stability of the system in addition to the improved performance. |
