제목 Modification of poly(3,4-ethylenedioxythiophene) poly(styrenesulfonate) inks for doctor blade processed inverted polymer solar cells
초록 Printing technology needs to commercialize polymer solar cells. Recently, although it has many developed, it is difficult to print water or alcohol-soluble materials like hole transfer layers(HTL) which are general poly(3,4-ethylenedioxythiophene) poly(styrenesulfonate) (PEDOT:PSS) on active layer due to difference of surface energy between active layer (hydrophobic) and PEDOT:PSS (hydrophilic). In this work, we added surfactant to PEDOT:PSS solution to match surface energy between both surfaces and produced printable-PEDOT:PSS inks through moderate dilution with de-ionized water. Thus, we successfully coated modified PEDOT:PSS on active layer which is bulk-heterojunction of P3HT:PC60BM. Also, we confirmed that surfactant of critical concentration in PEDOT:PSS layer has not effect on power conversion efficiency (PCE) and demonstrated PCE of 3.93% with doctor blade. That is comparable to PCE (3.91%) of reference cell which is applied additional heat treatment.
