초록 | Experiments were carried out to investigate the removal of SO2 and NO from flue gas in continuous process, in which electron beam and microwave was combined together to improve the removal efficiency. This study, through test of various experimental conditions and additional usage of microwave, tried to obtain a possible optimal experimental conditions for a minimization of energy consumption and a maximal removal efficiency of SO2 and NO for a purpose of its commercialization. The additional usage of microwave energy, under an electron beam radiation process, could much improve the removal efficiency of NO with increase of 10-20%. Whereas, SO2 could be completely removed at about 4kGy regardless of microwave irradiation. This microwave effect was more pronounced at higher concentration of inlet NO, e.g., at more than 500ppm of NO and around 80% of NO removal, microwave could decrease the absorbed energy of electron beam up to two times. Byproducts of white powders collected after removal of SO2 and NO was found to be ammonium nitrate and ammonium sulfate through SEM and elemental analyzer. |
