Organic thin film transistors have currently been the subject of intensive research activity due to their promising attributes for the manufacturing of low-cost, large-area and flexible electronic devices. In particular, acenes and heteroacenes are efficient hole-transporting (p-type) semiconductors, whereas rylene diimides, especially perylene and naphthalene derivatives, are so far the most successful air-stable electron-transporting (n-type) materials. In this study, we have synthesized new polymers for organic thin film transistors. In addition, the two polymers characterized using electrochemical and physical chemistry methods. Electrochemical and optical properties of new polymers were studied by UV-vis spectrum, Cyclic voltammetry. The thermal properties were determined by TGA and DSC. |
