제목 The physical properties of graphite foam prepared by low pressure impregnation process
초록 In this study, we have prepared graphite foam using various impregnation condition of poly urethane foam. In the fabrication of graphite foam by mesophase pitch injection through a poly urethane foam. The effect of impregnation condition has been investigated from compressive strength, thermal conductivity, and apparent density. Thermal conductivity of graphite foam is increased in proportion to mesophase pitch content of graphite foam. The thermal conductivity of graphite foam are measured to be from 4.74 to 16.35 W/mK, in the mesophase pitch content 40 to 60 phr. On the other hands, compressive strength of graphite foam is decreased in proportion to mesophase pitch content of graphite foam. The compressive strength of graphite foam are measured to be from 1.20 to 0.83 MPa.
