제목 | Polyphenothiazine as a New Class of Organic Semiconductor for Field Effect Transistors |
초록 | Organic field effect transistors (OTFTs) based on molecular and polymeric organic semiconductors are a focus of considerable current interest, motivated by their potential applications for organic integrated circuit sensors, low-cost memories, smart cared, and driving circuits for large-area display device applications such as active-matrix flat-panel liquid-crystal display (AMFPDs), organic light-emitting diodes, electrophoretic materials, and electronic paper display. Most of the organic semiconductors used for the fabrication of the p-channel in OTFTs have been mainly derived from thiophene-based ∏-conjugated systems, oligo-thiophenes, acenes, phthalocyanines, and regioregular poly-3-hexylthiophene. Development of new class of organic semiconductors with high charge mobility is required for realization of organic field effect transistor. In this study, polyphenothiazine (PPTZ) has been synthesized as a new class of p-type channel material for OFETs. Synthesis of PPTZ, and fabrication and characteristics of the OFETs will be discussed. |
