Effects of reaction variables like temperature, pressure and space velocity during the synthesis of light olefins from syngas (syngas to olefins; STO) on the co-precipitated Fe-Cu-AlOx (100Fe-6Cu-16Al) followed by K modification has been investigated. Above reaction temperature of 300 oC, the CO conversion and CO2 formation reached to equilibrium values around 90% and 35% respectively. With the increase of reaction pressure, C2-C4 olefin selectivity was reduced largely with a marginal change in products distribution. These different activities were elucidated by the results of TPR and XRD analysis. |
