제목 Fabrication of UF/NF membranes using PEG-grafted Ethyl Cellulose and Their Properties
초록 Ethyl Cellulose, one of the cellulose derivatives, has drawn considerable attention because of its better solubility. There are some researches employing EC as pharmaceutical formulations and gas separator membranes, but relatively little attention has been paid to semi-permeable membrane. In the present work, we substituted the hydroxyl group of EC for poly(ethylene glycol) and fabricated the modified EC membrane as well as the ethyl cellulose membrane with various casting solvent condition. The hydrophilicity and morphology of membranes were investigated by means of contact angle measurements and SEM.  The membrane performances were also tested and the obtained results were analyzed.
