Enhanced mechanical and flame retardant properties of epoxy resin by effects of fluorinated carbon nanotubes and montmorillonite |
초록 |
In order to improve the mechanical and flame retardant properties of epoxy resin, carbon nanotubes and montmorillonite were inserted into the epoxy as fillers.The carbon nanotubes were inserted into the epoxy resin after fluorination treatment for enhancing the interface adhesion between them. The mechanical properties were investigated by using dynamic mechanical analysis. The flame retardant was studied by TGA and DSC analysis. For the study of fluorination effects, the enhanced distribution of carbon nanotubes in epoxy resin was also confirmed by Tubiscan. In conclusion, the mechanical and flame retardant properties of epoxy resin were improved effectively by additives. |
