제목 Investigation of Structure-Property Relations ofConjugated Polymers used in Optoelectronic Applications
초록 Conjugated polymers consisting of axisymmetrical structural units have been considered difficult in reachinggood solid-state order because of their wavy backbone. The optoelectronic performancesof is thus limited by the low solid-state order of the polymers. In this presentation, via enhanced intermolecular non-covalent interactions and correct combination of comonomer geometries, high solid-state order was reached in polymers constructed with axisymmetrical units. A novel low bandgap polymer, PTh4FBT, demonstrated high organic field-effect transistor(OFET) mobility of 0.29 cm2/Vs and good polymer solar cell power conversion efficiency of 6.82%. In addition, a heptacyclicarene-based alternating copolymer, PDTCC-3T, demonstrated an order of magnitude increase in OFET mobilitywhen prudent design in the comonomer geometries was reached. The enhanced intermolecular interaction of PTh4FBT is supported by its higher Tm and dis-aggregate temperature in the solution. XRD analysis revealed that both PTh4FBT and PDTCC-3T possesses a 3D ordered solid-state structure with long correlation lengths. The study promotes a more comprehensive consideration for the polymer design in the future.
