제목 | One-Pot Reaction of Waste Textiles to High-Value Plastics (Textile-to-Plastic) |
초록 | Over the past decades, waste textiles have increased considerably. The increase in the consumption of textiles in the fashion industry has also been significant globally. The fiber consumption per capita in 1950 was about 3.7 kg, which was changed to 10.4 kg in 2008. The most waste textiles were landfilled or incinerated. In fashion industry, polyester is a more elastic fiber and therefore tends to be tear resistant. However, it does not tend to be as abrasion-resistant as cotton canvas. As polyester is not dependent upon the forces of nature for a successful harvest, it is usually considerably cheaper than 100% cotton. Flame retardancy of polyurethane foam was elucidated in conjunction with halogen induced flame retardancy, chain reactions of phosphorous, and intercalation effects of expandable graphite. This can enable to improve the polyurethane foams and further develop the novel flame retardant polyurethane composite. |
