제목 Hyaluronic acid-lipoic acid graft copolymer for functional cosmetics
초록 Hyaluronic acid (HA) is a biodegradable, biocompatible and natural linear polysaccharide with a broad molecular weight range from 100 to 10,000,000 Da. It is used widely in the pharmaceutical field. Lipoic acid (LA) is multifunctional antioxidant. It helps in the regeneration of exogenous and endogenous anti-oxidants such as Vitamin C, Vitamin E. Hydrophilic HA was conjugated with hydrophobic LA to form graft copolymer. The graft copolymer of HA-LA could form self-assembled nanoparticles in aqueous solution. The CAC was ca. 1Χ10-4 measured by fluorescence spectroscopy. Their sizes were ca. 170nm measured by TEM and DLS. Vitamin could be loaded in the hydrophobic core of nanoparticles by the dialysis method. The loading efficiency and the release profiles of the HA-LA nanoparticles were measured by HPLC.
