제목 In Situ Nanoparticlization of Conjugated Polymers
초록 In some cases, the single polymer chain itself exhibits the nanostructures while others do so via self-assembly process. In this presentation, we will focus on the formation of nanostructures via the self-assembly approach. We will introduce a new concept of self-assembly termed “in situ nano-particlization of conjugated polymers”. This method produces supramolecules directly during the polymerization and no further post-modification is required. These polymers are characterized by UV-vis, IR, AFM, TEM, and DLS to obtain the detailed structural information. Here, we will show two reactions, ROMP of cyclooctatetraene and cyclophane monomers and discuss how various nanostructures are formed in each case.
