Positive List of Polyethylene for Food and Beverage Packaging Applications |
초록 |
More than 50% of packaging plastics are consumed for food applications. PE is one of the most useful food packaging materials due to its low cost, easy processing ability and versatility in its physical properties. The purpose of the positive list of food contacting plastics is of course to protect human health from the hazards caused by the various chemicals. The positive list may also encourage the development of the plastics-related products by the prior information on the toxicity and safety of the chemicals to be used. The positive list of 21 CFR part 177 and 21 CFR part 178 which are valid in USA was compared with Europe’s 2004/72/EC and Japan’s JHOSPA. |
