제목 | Study on the Manufacturing and Properties of Self-healing EPDM/Ionomer Composites Using Dynamic Vulcanization |
초록 | Recently, Self-healing materials as automotive interior materials have been attracting attention. They are suitable for interior automotive materials as they have scratch recovery effects and eco-friendly materials by reducing VOCs because painting process is not required. In this study, EPDM (Ethylene-Propylene-Diene Rubber)/Ionomer composites were prepared through the dynamic vulcanization process in three different sulfur contents. Crosslink density, compression set, morphology, thermal properties of EPDM/Ionomer composites were investigated. The self-healing properties of composites have been identified and expected to be applicable to automotive door trims and instrument panels.
