제목 Fabrication and characterization of composite membrane based on the sulfonated poly(arylene ether sulfone) (sPAES) / polyvinylidenefluoride (PVdF) for unitized regenerative fuel cell (URFC)
초록 The polymer electrolyte membranes were prepared by blending sPAES / PVdF for URFC. sPAES / PVdF blend membrane was fabricated using a DMAc as a solvent and the composition of PVdF was 2.5%, 5%, 10%, 20% in the membrane. Water uptake, proton conductivity, and dimensional change of membrane were confirmed at the condition of fully hydrated state. The morphology of blend membrane was investigated by scanning electron microscopy (SEM) and atomic force microscopy (AFM). In a limited range of addition of PVdF, proton conductivity of blend membrane increased due to the morphological change in the membrane.
