제목 Development of Electrolyte Supported Cell for Internal Reforming of CO2 by CH4 in SOFC System
초록 The electrocatalytic reforming of CO2 with CH4 was carried out over an anode side of electrolyte supported single cell (ESC) in the SOFC system. Electrolyte supported cells are prepared by tape casting and screen printing methods. Fuel gases, CH4 and CO2 were feeded to an anode side in SOFC system and air was supplied to a cathode side. Under the open-circuit condition, the reaction rates of CH4 and CO2 drastically decreased, respectively. It was considered that the decreases in catalytic activity were caused by carbon deposition on catalyst electrode. On the other hand, the reaction rates of CH4 and CO2 were stable after undergoing the electrocatalytic reaction for 3 h under the closed-circuit. It was found that the conversions of CO2 and CH4 electrochemical cell (NiO-YSZ-CeO2|YSZ|(La,Sr) MnO3) are 30% and 35% respectively, and maximum power density is 50 mW/cm2 at 100 mA/cm2. Although the electrochemical performances over ESC are less than anode supported cell(ACS), the results show that the electrocatalytic internal reforming of CO2 with CH4 in the SOFC system is an attractive process to co-produce a syngas and electricity with the reduction of CO2.
