제목 Crystallization of Linear Polyethylene in Nanocylinders
초록 The physical behaviors of polymers under nanoscopic confinements have been of scientific interest during the past few decades. Investigation of polymer crystallization behavior within nanoscopic confinments is important area in polymer physics due to the potential applications of crystalline polymers as well as scientific interest. Here we show the crystallization and melting behaviors of linear polyethylene in cylindrical nanopores of alumina with their diameters ranging from 15 to 220 nm have been investigated by differential scanning calorimetry (DSC), and the crystal orientations of linear PE were examined by synchrotron sourced X-ray diffraction (XRD).
