A photovoltaic polymer containing electron-rich tetrathiofulvalene and fullerene was successfully synthesized via coupling reactions and abbreviated as 6T-polymer. Electron-rich tetrathiafulvalene (T) can work as an electron donor (D) and fullerene (F, C60) can act as an electron acceptor (A) so that the chemical architecture of 6T-polymer is a DA dyads system. The chemical structure of 6T-polymer was confirmed by utilizing FT IR, 1H and 13C NMR. The thermal behavior of 6T-polymer was monitored by DSC. Furthermore, its electrochemical properties were measured by UV-Vis, photoluminescence and cyclic voltammetry. |
