Mechanical and Thermal Properties of PBAT/PHA Blends and Their Biodegradable Behaviors |
초록 |
In this work, the mechanical and thermal properties of PBAT(poly-butylene adipate-co-terephthalate)/PHA(poly-hydroxy alkanoates) blends were studied. PHA is blended with PBAT in the ratio of 10 to 30 wt% to enhance the tensile strength of the blends. The blends morphology, thermal, and mechanical properties were observed using a scanning electron microscope, a differential scanning calorimeter, and a universal testing machine. As a result, the tensile strength of the blends was enhanced with an increase in PHA content, but their elongation was decreased |
