제목 | Computational investigations on performance of a methane-steam reformer |
초록 | In the steam reformer using methane, the dominant chemical reactions are steam reforming reaction, direct steam reforming reaction and water-gas shift reaction. To investigate the performance of steam reformer, numerical simulation was performed considering the internal reforming reactions, momentum, species and energy transport. The detailed studies were performed under different temperature conditions in order to capture its influence on the chemical reactions; the effect of channel in the reformer was invested for optimal design.
