There had been studies that showed more than 99% Hg0 removal efficiency using TiO2 under fluorescent light. However, there is no study that shows the actual mechanism of the photoreactivity. When measured by spectroradiometer, the fluorescent light also emits UV light. Therefore, in this study, various cut-off filters (370-510nm) were used to investigate mercury removal efficiencies under various wavelength bands. The purpose of this study is to validate the photocatalytic activity of TiO2 under visible light. |
