During the past decade, innovation and efforts of scientists have led to the development of a wide variety of electrode materials for clean energy applications in electrochemistry. The application of Metal organic frameworks (MOFs) in electrochemical systems is currently a promising field. MOFs are materials with high surface area and porosity that has been mostly used for gas adsorption, catalysis and electrical energy storage. In addition, MOFs can be easily and selectively changed into each carbon, metal oxide and metal sulfide by different thermal conditions. In this study, we analyzed electrochemical properties as a lithium sulfer battery cathode materials by using zeolitic imidazolate framework (ZIF). The cathode materials based on ZIF is prepared by solvo-thermal reaction and synthesized sulfur composite by melting diffusion method. We also performed electrochemical experiments by cyclic voltammetry and Galvanostatic charge-discharge experiment by manufacturing coin cells. |
