제목 The Synthesis of Methyl methacrylate-Acrylate Copolymers in Supercritical Carbon Dioxide
초록 We have discussed the synthesis of acrylate homopolymers in supercritical carbon dioxide using our GMA-PDMS stabilizer. The PMA, PEA and PBA which have low glass transition temperature (Tg), were obtained in a low yield and non-powder form. In this presentation, we focused on the effectiveness of our stabilizer in copolymerization system in a carbon dioxide medium. Poly(methyl methacrylate)-co-methyl acrylate, ethyl acrylate, butyl acrylate were all synthesized in a powder form. The yields are much higher than those of their homopolymers. The comonomer content in the copolymer is analyzed using a spectroscopic method. The properties including molecular weight, morphology, and Tg are also characterized.
