In this presentation, we demonstrate GMA functionalized stabilizer for dispersion polymerization in liquid and supercritical carbon dioxide. With the new stabilizer the high yield to PMMA was obtained over the broad range of carbon dioxide pressure. We present the effect of various parameters such as pressure, the concentration of MMA and the stabilizer, reaction time, and mixing on the molecular weight and the distribution of PMMA. The morphology and thermal property of the PMMA are also presented. |
