제목 Promoted Rh nanocrystals encapsulated in ordered mesoporous complex material for higher alcohol synthesis
초록 Higher alcohols such as butanol are gaining attraction due to low water solubility, equivalent energy density to gasoline, low volatility, less corrosiveness, and so on. For the production of higher alcohols, highly ordered mesoporous material has been regarded as a good candidate for support since it has high surface area and uniform pore size distribution. 
In this study, promoted Rh catalysis were employed for higher alcohol synthesis. RMLF (Rh-Mn-Li-Fe) nanocrystals encapsulated in highly ordered silica-C and titania-C complex supports showed good catalytic performance in synthesis of ethanol, propanol and butanol, especially C3+ higher alcohols. The effluent gas from the reactor was analyzed by an online gas chromatograph (Young Lin Acme 6000 GC) employing a thermal conductivity detector and a flame ionization detector. N2 was used as an internal standard for GC analysis.
