제목 Sensitive Colorimetric Detector for Heavy Metal Ion, Pb2+, by Using Composite of Polydiacetylene (PDA) and Nanoporous Silica Produced from Rice Husk
초록  Polydiacetylene (PDA) has been studied as a self-assembly material that is able to confirm the results by visual inspection in response to specific conditions using its colorimetric characteristics, which is caused by a conjugated backbone of alternating double and triple bonds in Diacetylene (DA).  
 We, in this study, focused on modification of PDA vesicles with crown-6-ether having the property to capture Pb2+ ion that particularly affects children’s physical growth. Furthermore, for the effective absorption of the heavy metal, the nanoporous silica (SiO2) was synthesized by leaching and calcination step though silica powder extracted from rice husk. Economic and environmental friendly characteristics was obtained at the same time, comparing with conventional experimental which is used expensive silanol precursor. Consequently we developed composites of PDA-SiO2 to apply colorimetric detector for Pb2+ ion by the naked eye.
