Control of Single Crystalline Triisopropylsilylethynyl Pentacene on Organic Ferroelectric Thin Films |

Organic single crystalline semiconductors have attracted an enormous amount of interest for use in organic field effect transistors due to their ease of fabrication. Especially, organic single-crystal based transistors have interested for outstanding electrical characteristics. For flexible transistor application of organic devices, it is necessary to fabricate with polymer dielectric with low leakage current over broad voltage range. We investigate the cross linked Poly(methylmethacrylate) (PMMA) and PMMA/PVDF-TrFE blends gate dielectric. By optimizing blends composition and deposition conditions, we are able to demonstrate low leakage and high mobility transistors. The chemically robust cross linked PMMA devices allowed as to fabricate TIPS_PEN single crystal in the toluene solvent. |
