제목 | Deprotection study of N-protected azapropellanes |
초록 | Generally, polycyclic molecules with a highly symmetric structure such as cubane or isowurzitane have a higher molecular density as well as a molecular strain. In addition, molecules with higher nitrogen and oxygen atom contents tend to exhibit an increased detonation property as energetic materials. Combination of the polycyclic molecular skeleton and the higher N and O atom percentage would result in higher explosive performance as energetic materials as shown by octanitrocubane and HNIW. We have been recently involved in the synthesis of N-nitro substituted azapropellanes that can be used as novel starting materials for high energetic materials.
