High-Performance Organic Field-Effect Transistors with Transparent FET Array Application |

Polymeric organic semiconductors are attracting great interest because of their high-performance, flexibility, and easy processibility. However, their significant drawback is the low stability in various environmental conditions. We adopted a high-performance polymer semiconductor in the configuration of bottom gate bottom contact with graphene electrodes, which showed ambipolar property and high robustness against organic solvents. The fabricated devices showed both high-performance and superior stability in organic solvent. These transistors were applied to FET-type sensors that can successfully detect acetone vapors. In addition, a transparent 10 × 10 transistor array device was demonstrated with uniform electrical properties and photoresponsivity. Our findings pave a viable way for the practical applications of polymeric semiconductors. |
