Slot-die processed large-area polymer solar cells comprising P3HT wires and PCBM small molecules |

We prepared poly(3-hexlythiophene) (P3HT)wires that is applicable to printing system. For uniform large-area film, there’s need to consider viscosity and boiling point which are available in slot-die coating method. Here, the wires using mixed tetrahydrafuran(THF) as marginal solvent and good solvent as chlorobenzene(CB) were prepared. By mixing these wires with a fullerene derivative [6,6]-phenyl-C61-butyric acid methyl ester (PCBM) in solution, it is possible to make wires using slot-die coating method in bulk-heterojunction(BHJ). As a result, large-area polymer solar cells (PSCs) show high power conversion efficiency (PCE) (>3%) under Air Mass 1.5 condition. |
